I started ‘The Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust’ as a platform to promote education and sports, vocational training and healthcare.

Among the projects of the Foundation have been a ‘Khel Gaon’ or Games Village (envisaged as direct, grassroots program, aimed at converting Indian villages into ‘Games Villages’ by encouraging villagers to take ownership of the establishment of a ‘Sports Center’ in their community, being implemented along with the Government partnership across 20 villages in Chandigarh and Punjab), Chotte Champions (an in-school programme aiming to the spirit of sport among school going children by implementing in-school sporting curriculum and ‘house’ competition to embed life lessons and values that sport teaches in relation to fair play, sportsmanship and working as a team), the publication of India at the Olympic Games a children’s’ book and organisation of the Youth Leadership Camp with the British Council and the India London 2012 Roadshow with the British High Commission and Blood Donation and Medical Camps.
