Abhinav Bindra, the 2008 Olympic gold medallist was conferred with shooting’s highest award by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) at the General Assembly in Munich on Friday.
Abhinav Bindra, who remains India’s lone individual Olympic gold medallist, has been bestowed with the Blue Cross, the ISSF’s highest award.
The Blue Cross is the highest recognition conferred by the parent body of international shooting, the ISSF. Bindra is the first Indian to be awarded the Blue Cross.
